I was born in Rome, Italy, and have been a London citizen for 20 years.
I have received my formal training in Photography at an early age from my Grandfather (a Director Of Photography in movies and documentaries).
I was later trained as a composer and musician, graduating from the Luca Marenzio Music Conservatory of Brescia, Northern Italy.
I started my professional journey into visuals production at the age of 22, working as the in-house composer for Swiss television and film production company Polivideo SA, spending a lot of time in the editing suite alongside directors and film editors.
So my visual creation style was mainly shaped by cinema, television and music rather than pure Photography.
More specifically, my Fine Art photography work has developed itself through the admiration for the imagery of the great Italian film directors Federico Fellini, Ettore Scola and Mario Monicelli as well as thanks to the artistic education I have received from my Stepfather, an established Italian architect.
Later in life, after moving to London, my meeting with British photographer and now friend Mark Edwards OBE (Hard Rain Project, Christiania) has also contributed to furthering my knowledge and artistic taste in image creation.
Like many, I started my Photography journey by documenting life on the street (Click here to view a selection of my Street Photography work).
Soho, the West End of London, where I lived from 2007 to 2014, was a very inspiring place to capture the human condition, and so that's where I started. My work was then noticed by French curator Renaud Siegmann, who introduced me to the Galerie Goutal of Aix En Provence, where my first exhibition, "So Home", was hosted.
At the same time, I began working as a professional photographer in the live events and corporate sector, and, over time, I was lucky enough to work for renowned companies and establishments, such as Trustpilot, Gaggia UK, Sous Chef, Gaga Laboratorio Watches (Switzerland), PDS Health (USA nationwide), the Boulevard Theatre Soho, Bar Italia Soho, Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, to name but a few.
I was able to handle important responsibilities and image creation assignments, including being hired to photograph former US President George W. Bush, Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo and Trustpilot Founder Peter Holten Muhlmann, as well as capturing million dollar budget corporate events produced by Robert Mark Kalfin at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas featuring high profile guests like writer Simon Sinek and Pop star Pitbull.
I currently reside in North London.
My Fine Art work is represented by the Ahmad Shariff Art gallery of Claremont, California, and by the Galerie Goutal of Aix En Provence, France.
I am available for assignments in the UK and worldwide.
If needed, alongside Photography, I can also offer Videography services. Please click here to view some examples of my work.
